For The Slave is Our Brother...

How do we end slavery in our own communities? We create family... we welcome those in chains... we see the chains we wield or carry ourselves and surrender them to Jesus... we seek active peace, confess the reality of divisions between us denominationally, racially, socio-economically, and work vigorously to reconcile them... we lament injustice, praise when it is called for, & see all life as sacred worship... we play, laugh, and choose a rooted love in a hypermobile culture... we become new creatures unlike any created thing ever seen, & declare in word & silence the Spirit's transformation all of our lives.
